The CIA (Confidence In Action) is our only Titanium frame made specifically for golf.
The golf-specific ‘CIA’ is Handmade in Japan and features a feather-light, incredibly strong, titanium frame with a high definition, dye infused, LT33/ LT16 RSR lens. The lens is a decentered eight base, 33% Light Transmission wrap. This lens that actually appears to brighten and sharpen your vision on the golf course yet still provides 100% UVA and UVB at 400nm protection. The LT33/ LT16 lenses are top drill mounted eliminating 60% of the lower frame and allowing for an unobstructed view while addressing the ball. The frame also includes adjustable, oversized, soft, tacky, silicone nose pads that will keep the frames comfortably in place during the most powerful of golf swings.
When blending dyes to colorize the tint on any lens one must consider the reaction that the ‘visible light spectrum’ has on the human brain. After several attempts in blending the dyes, we feel we have found the perfect sweet spot within the visible light spectrum that will create the perfect contrast and color for the game of golf. This sweet spot will allow the player to put the Scheyden CIA’s on and keep them on during the entire round, including while performing shots in the shade of a tree. Though this is one of our more stylish Golf Specific frames it can also be worn for other activities requiring a non-polarized lens such as aviation.

It was a hot (for New Hampshire), sunny and very windy day. The glasses worked great! Very comfortable and stable on my face, even when my skin grew moist with perspiration.
The lenses are great ? filtering the bright sun without becoming too dark for golf when passing clouds block the sun or late afternoon when the daylight stars to soften and dim. Also, the vision is crystal clear, with no discernable distortion.
I wear contact lenses, so I particularly appreciated the wrap-around lenses? protection from the constant stiff breeze and occasional bouts of wind. I wear contacts very well (no problems or discomfort), but I did sense my eyes stayed more moist and relaxed through five-plus hours of activity outdoors in demanding conditions.

Outstanding Comfort Meets Modern Styling —
I have worn three different styles of Scheyden eyewear over the years, and hands down the Waylites are my favorite. The flexible temples, modern styling, high quality optics (that I expect from Scheyden) and unrivaled comfort make this the best pair of sunglasses I’ve ever owned. I opted for the upgraded mirror coating and prescription lenses and I’ve thanked myself every day since. A Nice Product —
I purchased these after seeing an ad on FlightChops and I am very happy with my purchase so far. I use them for flying and the relatively thin armatures on these make it easy to put them on with a headset on. I do with they were a little tighter on my head but they still hold fine as long as I don’t do anything crazy fast head movements. Still, I would purchase Scheyden glasses again.

— While the glass is of high quality, it seems to me the Glasses have not been designed by golfers, but airline pilots, who basically are looking more level and not straight down as golfers need to in order to hit the ball at all times. Maybe my glasses are not adjusted properly, but the 2 problems I have when looking down is the large Nose Piece Structure is in the line of sight and the material of the nose piece is slippery silicone like that results in the glasses slipping down when bending my head to make a shot, and not the rubber material in my other Golf Sun Glasses, which prevents slipping when sweating.
